Dar 1944 m. rugpjūčio pradžioje atsitraukus Antro pasaulinio karo fronto linijai, Kėdainiuose buvo įkurtas
As the frontline receded in early August of 1944, a preservatives plant was established in Kėdainiai. Its main purpose was to feed the Lithuanian people affected by the war, as well as those who were turning over a fresh page in their lives.
Unfortunately, history is now repeating itself. Today, we need to take care of the Ukrainian people: those who were forced out of their homes and those who are fighting for their country with all of their strength and even their lives.
In an effort to help the Ukrainian people, we have made Ukrainian borscht, which comes in 480 g containers. We will donate all of the profits from the sales of this product to the Blue Yellow NGO (VšĮ Mėlyna ir Geltona), which is providing the Ukrainian military and volunteers with non-lethal equipment, thereby aiding them in their fight against the Russian aggression.
On the 1st of March UAB Kėdainių Konservų Fabrikas was one of the first Lithuanian businesses to deliver over 170,000 servings of soup to the Ukrainian population, by way of the charity and sponsorship fund Maisto Bankas (The Food Bank). For details, please visit here.
