I am Erika, the founder of Tebežydi Jurginai, an office worker by day and a flower fairy by night.
This activity was born out of a love of nature: I love walking in the woods, collecting grasses and ferns. I am also interested in home decor and interior design. I believe flowers at home make a great interior detail, and it is even better if the flowers are long-lasting.
I was attracted to floristry from an early age. I used to say that “when I grow up I will be a florist”, but like most people I went to study for a “normal” profession and turned to economics. I tried to suppress my creative spirit with other activities, but less than 15 years later I realised my childhood dream.
I decided to dry flowers in search of a long lasting solution and was also fascinated by their distinctive structure and even scent. Dried flowers are currently gaining popularity around the world. This is due to the fact that a bouquet of dried flowers is a sustainable solution for a gift or decoration in a home.
